Tea Cup Treasures

To my eye, nothing says romantic Victorian any more than a lovely tea cup and saucer.  Whether you choose to use them to embellish and craft with, to set on a pretty shelf in your dining area, collect a variety and fill your curio with them, or actually use them to enjoy your tea from, they are a delight to behold!  Femininity at its finest!  Perhaps, you will choose one or more of these beauties to make your day a little brighter, just as my own collection has done for me over the years.

Seyei Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer set of Seyei fine china.  It is Bella Maria pattern #2129.  Originating in the 1950's, this beautiful collectible has been discontinued and will never lose its value.  It is very hard to find.  Use as a replacement set for your own dishes, to begin a new collection, or just to add something beautiful to your china cabinet.  They are in mint condition and you are getting the cup and saucer set for this price.

Lemon Cup

This cup is a depression glass and is in excellent condition.  It is a pale shade of lemon yellow.  The designs on here are beautiful, yet, I don't know what it is called.  The picture shows a nice image, however, so you can see it well.  It is a raised design.  I now have three in stock but am selling them individually, so when you order, check the stock to see if I have the number you request.  You are getting one cup for this price listed.  They are in perfect condition.   Each measures 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".

Green Depression Cup

This old cup is depression glass and it is a really beautiful shade of light green.  It has different designs on it - florals I can make out - as well as others.  It has a raised "bumpy" texture around all but the rim of the cup and is in perfect condition.

Gold Tea Spoons

Gold Tea Spoons

This is one of my favorite finds.  Since I love tea cups I could just imagine these on a saucer with a pretty tea cup.  It is a set of six very pretty small spoons.  They are 4 1/2" long and 1" at the fullest part.  They do not indicate they are gold anywhere on them so I assume they are gold overlay probably over sterling silver.  I cannot be sure but they do not show much tarnishing at all.  They are old I think by the condition of the original box they came in.  It is a brown box with a hinged lid and there is a stamp of "Supreme Cutlery" on the inside of the box top.  The box is old and tattered but still works perfectly.  All the spoons are perfect.  They would be wonderful with your prettiest tea cups and saucers or to use in decorative projects.  I love them!  You are getting the 6 spoons and the box for this price.

One Perfrect Rose

If you are familiar with the Moss Rose pattern, this looks almost identical to it, but is marked only "Japan" on the bottom.  It has a clean white  background with a thin gold ring on the saucer rim, cup rim and handle.  The front of the cup has one large rose with small rose buds and on the back of the cup is one small rose bud with greenery.  That same pattern is repeated on the saucer.  It is a clean, feminine look and would be so pretty on a shelf in your dining area or on a table with a simple rose stem beside it.  The measurements are 5 l/2"  on the saucer width and the cup is 4 l/2" x 2 l/2".  Lovely!

Rose Bouquet

This  cup and saucer is very simple and clean in design.  The saucer measures 6" across.  The cup is 4 1/2" x 3 l/4" tall.  It is one I would actually take to my office and have a nice hearty cup of tea in and leave on my desk to be admired.  The background is simple white and there is a very thin ring of gold around the saucer rim and the cup rim.  There is only a very thin line that extends half way down the handle.  The cup has a large bouquet of roses in all shades of pink with just a hint of yellow on one side.  The back has one single rose.  The saucer has that same bouquet only on one side and across from it on the other side, one simple pink rose.  This set is thick and durable enough to use to drink from, put a candle in it, or craft with it.  You will enjoy its versatility.

Chelsea Rose
These cups and saucers are a very simple pattern and I can see using them for some great crafting projects or for everyday use.  The saucer is 5 1/2" wide and the cup is 4" x 2 1/2".  The pattern is named Chelsea Rose by Kirk and Matz and they are Abbeydale Fine
Bone China made in England.  They are a white background with a minimal amount of gold on the rim of the saucer and on the rim of the cup and cup handle.  There are 4 rose bouquets of pink and blue on each cup and 6 of the same bouquet on each saucer.  Very usable.  Neat and clean design.  You are buying one cup and one saucer set for this price.
